Community-oriented route to market
Positively contributing to the communities in which we operate
We believe our success is deeply connected to the wellbeing of the communities we operate in. Through our Places pillar, we contribute to social inclusion and road safety through partnerships, investing in local skills development and expanding access to mobility. Our locally tailored, market-led programmes support people and communities – helping them thrive and building long-term impact.

Social inclusion
In 2024, Inchcape delivered 63 social inclusion initiatives across the globe.
Led by a local-first approach to ensure our initiatives reflect the varying needs of our global operations, we support under-represented communities by providing tailored mobility solutions and access to future-ready skills. Through partnerships and programmes, we deliver education, work experience and internships focused on EV and digital skills. By working with NGOs and local initiatives, we help make mobility more accessible and create new opportunities for those who need them most.
In partnership with Casa de la Mujer, Inchcape Uruguay launched a Basic Mechanics Training Programme for women. Combining mechanical skills with business training and mentorship, the programme empowered 20 women in its first year to explore careers in the automotive industry. Building on its success, we have plans to expand the programme to Guatemala, Ecuador and Colombia.

We recognise that gender diversity and access to tech careers remain global challenges, which is why we’re committed to improving access to digital skills and building diverse digital teams. Through our Digital Delivery Centres, we run a range of programmes to support this goal. Since 2022, 96 women have taken part in Inchpact, our initiative to train women in tech, with over half hired into our teams. We also support age diversity through our 50+ programme, develop early career talent via our student programme in the Philippines, and recently introduced InnovateHer in Colombia, where a hackathon helped women explore IT careers and fast-tracked winners into our talent pipeline.
