Marion Gathoga Mwangi
Marion Gathoga Mwangi is a transformational business leader with over 25 years of senior management experience across FMCG, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, and media. She is recognized for her ability to steer large-scale turnarounds, drive sustainable growth, embed continuous improvement cultures, and inspire high-performing teams across East, Southern, and West Africa.
Before joining Inchcape Kenya, Marion held several high-impact leadership positions, including Group CEO of Standard Group PLC, Business Unit Director at Africa Oxygen Company (Linde Group) in South Africa, and Managing Director of BOC Kenya PLC. She has also served in senior leadership roles at global brands such as Cadbury, Unga, Parmalat, and Bayer.
In addition to her executive roles, Marion is a Non-Executive Director on several boards, including British American Tobacco Plc, Kenya Nut Company, and the Kenya Association of Manufacturers.
A certified Executive Coach and Lean (Kaizen) Practitioner, Marion holds a BSc in International Business Administration from USIU-Africa, an International Systemic Team Coaching Certificate (IOEC), and multiple leadership program certifications from institutions such as Strathmore Business School, Cranfield School of Management, and European Business School.
