Transforming tomorrow, together

Understanding our colleagues

Our annual Be Heard colleague engagement survey serves as a critical tool to measure how well we understand our colleagues. This includes our performance on inclusion and diversity, career and talent development, and wellbeing. Through our colleague insights, we can shape strategies, accelerate improvement and ensure that we remain on track to meet our wellbeing, health and safety goals.

In 2025, all our key measures – engagement, intent to stay, inclusion, exceeding expectations, sustainability and wellbeing – are now in the top 25% of companies globally, reflecting our progress in building a strong One Inchcape culture. In 2025, we achieved an 81% engagement rate, up from 77% in 2024.

A workplace where everyone can thrive

Learning and development

At Inchcape, everyone is empowered to realise their potential, share fresh thinking and deliver their best work to help grow our business. Our global learning and development initiatives enable colleagues to connect, develop their skills and capabilities, and build their careers at Inchcape. Our senior leaders co-shape programmes, sponsor leadership initiatives and embed learning locally, ensuring learning priorities align to Accelerate+ and our Sustainability Framework.

Inclusive hiring

The new Inchcape Academy

Launched in 2025, the Inchcape Academy is a global learning hub designed to support career development, build skills and drive consistent capability across our markets. It brings together around 15,000 learning resources, aligned to our Accelerate+ priorities, and was accessed by over 16% of colleagues in its first year. We continue to expand and enhance the platform to increase engagement and impact.

Structured development programmes delivered through the Academy, alongside complementary initiatives, have contributed to a rise in our Be Heard Career Development score to 74% (2024: 68%).

Aspire programme

Leading through Change

In 2025, we launched the Leading Through Change programme to strengthen leadership capability in a fast-changing environment, responding to Be Heard feedback on the need for better support during transformation. The programme builds skills in change leadership, resilience and team empowerment through real business case studies.

In its first year, 400 leaders participated globally, with strong satisfaction (4.72/5) and improved confidence in leading change. This contributed to higher colleague sentiment, with 65% saying change is managed well (+10%). We will continue to scale the programme and track progress through Be Heard insights.

Enhancing wellbeing and safety

Wellbeing, health and safety

Wellbeing, health and safety at Inchcape refers to our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of physical and mental health, personal safety and overall welfare for all colleagues, as defined in our materiality assessment.

Through our proactive safety culture and wellbeing agenda, we aim to protect our colleagues while strengthening trust, engagement and cultural maturity across the Group. This approach also supports operational reliability and business continuity, while reinforcing governance and global alignment by ensuring all markets work towards a common goal and strategic intent.

Looking ahead

We will continue strengthening our wellbeing, health and safety performance through training and development initiatives, enhanced HSE system analytics, ongoing risk management programmes, psychological safety initiatives and integrating new markets. Through structured reporting and a range of engagement channels, we will continue to build a consistent, proactive and globally aligned One Inchcape culture.
