Inchcape today announces the appointment of Patrick Bradley as Chief People Officer.
Patrick will join the company on 17 August 2026, succeeding Helen Cunningham, who will retire from Inchcape on 01 September following a decade with the Group.
Based in London, Patrick will be responsible for Inchcape’s global People strategy, ensuring the organisation has the culture, capabilities and talent required to deliver its strategic ambitions. He will lead the Group’s People agenda across talent and leadership development, colleague engagement, organisational effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, reward, and health, safety and wellbeing.
Patrick will report directly to Duncan Tait, Group Chief Executive, and sit on the Group Executive Team.
He brings extensive global People leadership experience across several sectors and leading FTSE-listed businesses, including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and Marks & Spencer. Patrick joins Inchcape from Brambles, a listed Australian logistics solutions provider operating in 60 countries, where he was initially Chief People Officer before becoming Chief Transformation and Customer Experience Officer.
Prior to Brambles, Patrick held senior People leadership roles at BT and EE. As Chief People Officer at EE, he played an integral role in its successful integration with BT. He has a strong track record in organisational change, business integration and transformation.
Duncan Tait, Inchcape Group Chief Executive, said, “Patrick’s extensive global People leadership experience, combined with his strong track record in organisational change, integration and transformation, makes him ideally placed to lead our People agenda.
“I look forward to working with Patrick as we continue to strengthen our culture and capabilities, develop our talent and ensure Inchcape remains a safe, inclusive and engaging place to work.
“I would also like to thank Helen for her outstanding contribution to Inchcape over the past decade. She leaves a strong legacy, having transformed our global People function and made an important contribution to the development of our business and the delivery of our strategy.”
Patrick Bradley, Inchcape Chief People Officer, said, “I am delighted to be joining Inchcape at such an important stage in its development. The Group’s international scale, strategy and talented colleagues provide a strong foundation for future growth. I look forward to working with colleagues across the organisation to build the culture, capabilities and People agenda that will support the successful delivery of Inchcape’s ambitions.”
