- The company reinforces its commitment to a more inclusive, diverse culture with equal opportunities, going beyond regulatory compliance.
Inchcape announced its membership in the Network of Inclusive Companies (ReIN), a business community that promotes responsible labour inclusion for people with disabilities and fosters collaborative work between the private and public sectors to influence public policies and best practices in this area.
The integration into ReIN reflects Inchcape's conviction to continue advancing towards an inclusive organisational culture, understanding inclusion as a strategic value that strengthens individuals, teams, and the business. Through this alliance, the company aims to access learning opportunities, share best practices, utilise measurement tools, and receive specialised training, while actively contributing to the development of regulations that promote labour inclusion in Chile.
As a company, we want to continue advancing towards a more inclusive and diverse culture, beyond regulatory compliance. Joining ReIN allows us to learn from other companies, share best practices, access concrete measurement tools, and actively participate in the development of public policies that drive responsible labour inclusion,” said Laura Jil, Sustainability Manager of Inchcape Chile.
At Inchcape, the objective is to continue managing inclusion and diversity in a cross-cutting manner, promoting environments where people with disabilities find a space to work, develop, and grow. This approach seeks to consolidate a culture where each person can authentically be themselves, in an environment based on respect and the pursuit of the best talent.
“Managing inclusion and diversity responsibly allows us to create environments where people feel valued, which directly impacts satisfaction, development, and talent retention. We want Inchcape to be a place where everyone has real opportunities for growth,” added Laura Jil.
Participation in ReIN opens opportunities for various areas, teams, and individuals within the organisation — including People, Operations, branches, distribution centres, and workshops — to actively engage in the activities, training, and workspaces offered by the network.
In this context, Inchcape aims to actively leverage the training, mentoring, and support spaces provided by ReIN, while also sharing its experience and learnings with the network, contributing to the collective development of responsible labour inclusion practices.
The agreement was signed during Inchcape's Inclusion Week, in a ceremony attended by Pablo Klocker, Corporate Machinery Manager of Inchcape; Luis Garza, People Director Chile of Inchcape; Yazmin Cabello, Sustainability Director of SOFOFA; Rodrigo Márquez, Culture and Talent Manager of ACHS and Director of ReIN; María de los Ángeles Vial, Executive Coordinator of ReIN; Laura Gil, Sustainability Manager of Inchcape; Carolina González, Inclusion and Diversity Specialist, along with labour inclusion managers, People Business Partners, and colleagues from the company.
With this alliance, Inchcape reaffirms its commitment to fostering an inclusive culture, training its teams in inclusion and diversity, and implementing concrete actions that support the incorporation, retention, and professional development of people with disabilities, contributing to workplaces where individuals feel valued and can fully develop.
