This is Mirtha Vidalón, Retail & Network Director of Inchcape Peru.
Inchcape, the leading automotive distributor in Peru, announced the appointment of Mirtha Vidalón Orellana as a new member of the Board of Directors of the Peruvian Automotive Association (AAP).
Mirtha has 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, is an industrial engineer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and holds an MBA from Mannheim Business School in Germany and a specialisation from the Kellogg School of Management. She currently serves as Retail & Network Director of Inchcape Peru.
Her inclusion on the AAP Board of Directors, starting in March this year, makes her the first woman to lead an automotive association in the country, a historic milestone that opens new opportunities to promote gender equity and highlight female talent within the industry.
This appointment not only recognises her extensive experience and talent but will also serve as an inspiration for more women to access leadership positions, driving significant change in the automotive sector.

About her professional career
Previously, she served as Retail Manager, Business Manager, and Marketing Manager in other companies in the sector, as well as a mobility project consultant in Germany.
Since 2023, she has held the position of Retail & Network Director at Inchcape Peru. Her leadership spans the commercial operations of all sales channels, network development, and customer experience for a diverse portfolio of leading light vehicle brands, including Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki, Renault, Changan, DFSK, GWM, and JAC. Additionally, she leads projects within the company such as the launch of new commercial operating models, improving efficiency in retail operations, and optimising the dealer network, supported by technology.
Her commitment to female leadership is reflected in her participation in Inchcape initiatives, such as being part of the IN Women’s Network in the Americas, which brings together more than 400 members, as well as her role as a speaker in various local and regional forums.
