According to Lacerda, for the transition towards more sustainable mobility to be successful, it is essential that legislation not only favours electric vehicles but also includes incentives for hybrid cars. Lacerda highlighted that Chile is a key market for Inchcape, not only due to its economic stability but also because of its role as a producer and exporter of commodities, which provides significant potential for the growth of the automotive industry in the country. With nearly 25% market share in Chile, Inchcape continues to consolidate its leadership through the integration of operations and the expansion of its brand portfolio, including Derco and Ditec.
