A group of 20 female students visited the facilities of one of our company's workshops to experience its operations up close, with a particular focus on Personal Protective Equipment and safety.
Recently, in Uruguay, 20 students from the Basic Mechanics Course for Women, provided by the Casa de la Mujer in collaboration with the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IMEFOP), participated in this initiative.
The main objective of this initiative was to enhance their professional training. To achieve this, a special tour of one of our operational workshops was organised, allowing the students to experience the dynamics and functioning of the workshop 'in situ'.
Employees from the Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles workshops took part in the activity, showcasing ongoing services and sharing their knowledge about tools and procedures, with a focus on the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and workplace safety.
This initiative is part of Inchcape Americas' commitment to promoting technical education for women, providing opportunities for their integration into the mobility industry.
