Store Supervisor

Location: Altona, Melbourne

About this role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Store Supervisor to manage parts inventory and support workshop operations in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and efficient flow of parts and materials to keep our workshop running smoothly.

Reporting to the production manager, your duties will be as followed however not limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts store in the workshop
  • Order parts for all vehicles operation requirements based on customer pipeline, min / max quantities
  • Procure special requirement items at the direction of management.
  • Receiving all parts/goods and store in designated warehouse locations in a timely manner
  • Receipting all parts/goods into the SAP system within a timely manner and resolving all discrepancies as required
  • Ensure invoicing and other related paperwork is in order
  • Ad hoc projects and activities as required.
  • Complete audits on all client stock take.
  • Ordering parts for damaged good
  • Overseeing LF operations in the workshop

About You:

  • Previous experience in a store/warehouse or parts supervisory role, preferably in automotive
  • A valid driver's license and Forklift license is a mandatory requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and workshop operations
  • Experience with inventory systems (e.g., SAP, ERA, or similar)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
