Our team is seeking Paint & Body Quality Inspector, responsible for performing diagnosis, repairs, maintenance and installation work to vehicles ensuring adherence to standards, policies and procedures and providing exceptional customer satisfaction. What you’ll do

• Quality control areas of repair including obvious damage and missing major parts and components. 
• Inspect vehicles for loose or misaligned items such as trim, doors, and hardware etc. 
• Inspect surfaces to detect minor chips and scratches in paint. 
• Touch up imperfections using brush applicator and factory-supplied matching paint.
• Assist Body Shop personnel to diagnose and rectify defects with customers’ vehicles.
• Work closely with Body Shop Foreman to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Work closely with detailers to ensure quality finishes.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Test drive (when necessary) ensures that faults, discrepancies etc. are noted and quality control sheet signed.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Keep a professional appearance and neat work area.
• Perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned by the Paint & Body Shop Management.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll be

•  At least three (3) CXC level passes including Mathematics and English at grade 2 or higher
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in quality assurance or similar role
• Technical knowledge and experience in Paint & Body Shop repairs
• Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Exceptional professionalism, communication and interpersonal skills with a proven passion for customer service and customer satisfaction
• Highly detail-oriented and meticulous ensuring thorough and precise work
• Ability to prioritize while managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
