Latest 10,000 Interns Foundation cohort joins Inchcape
Inchcape, the leading global automotive distributor, is delighted to welcome its latest cohort from the 10,000 Interns Foundation. This summer, nine interns will join Inchcape and undertake placements in a number of departments in our PLC headquarters.
The 10,000 Interns Foundation champions underrepresented talent and promotes equity of opportunity. They run two programmes to meet that mission: The 10,000 Black Interns programme, and the 10,000 Able Interns programme, both offering students and graduates paid internship opportunities across a range of industries.
Inchcape’s role is accelerating the performance of its mobility company partners, unlocking opportunities through people and technology. A diverse workforce is part of doing that successfully which is why our partnership with the 10,000 Interns Foundation – now in its third year – is so important.
Louise Manzano, Inchcape’s Group Talent and Organisational Development Director said:
“At Inchcape, our colleagues are at the heart of our success and it’s key we ensure we have an inclusive and diverse culture as well as the best talent and skills to deliver our future success.
“Because of this, in 2024 we are delighted to benefit as a business – for the third year – from welcoming a cohort of nine students from the 10,000 Interns Foundation. Our interns will be working within various functions bringing new ideas and fresh thinking to our business.
“In return they will gain valuable real-world experience and learnings from our expert colleagues. We welcome them all warmly.”
This summer, our cohort from 10,000 interns will contribute to and learn from our PLC headquarters including investor relations, communications, finance and strategy. You can read more about the 10,000 Interns Foundation here.
