Inchcape is for Everyone
At Inchcape we are continuously strengthening our commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. We believe that Inchcape is for everyone and that is why earlier this year we announced our Responsible Business and Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) plans for Inchcape.
Celebrating inclusion and diversity is an integral part of our company ethos, and Inchcape is marking Pride this year by recognising how each and every one of us can create an inclusive and supportive environment for all our colleagues, customers and communities.
This is an important step in becoming more visible and celebrating what we have achieved as business so far on our I&D journey. We also know that there is so much more we can do in the months and years ahead to truly build Inchcape for everyone. So, it’s also a promise that our actions will always strive for inclusivity, diversity and a sense of belonging.
Throughout Pride month we will be partnering with specialists to drive the conversation on gender identity and trans inclusion. Our colleagues will be sharing their experience and stories of belonging to shine a spotlight on actions that further inclusion. We are also delivering Pride & Inclusion Allyship Toolkits to all our colleagues.
Ways we are creating an Inchcape for everyone:
- Developing robust I&D policies to ensure we can reach, reflect and retain talent from across the world’s diverse communities.
- Running an extended Inclusive Leadership Programme for our senior leaders to ensure inclusivity is embedded right across management.
- Developing a range of I&D toolkits to empower our colleagues right across the business in creating an inclusive environment. These have been developed in partnership with our colleagues and enable everyone to consider I&D within their daily actions and decisions.
- Spotlighting diverse role models within the business, and inviting prominent thought leaders to promote conversation on the importance of belonging and being ourselves at Inchcape.
