Our team in Chile led the “Autocosmos” awards ceremony

Inchcape receieved the highest number of recognitions awarded by the specialised media outlet, which highlighted the performance of its brands in value propositions, safety, technology, and electrification.

In a landscape marked by more than 150 new models launched during the year, the arrival of multiple emerging brands, and significant progress in electrification, Inchcape became the standout player at the awards ceremony hosted by the specialised media outlet Autocosmos, in a competitive environment featuring 87 brands.

In this edition, Autocosmos presented awards to the vehicles and brands that won the 15 Autocosmos Recommendations 2026, selected from all the new model launches of 2025. Additionally, the Autocosmos Awards, chosen by the public from the previous year's launches, were also presented.

The selection primarily aimed to offer superior value propositions, prioritising safety, innovation, accessibility, and technology - attributes that are central to the portfolio strategy and brand development represented by Inchcape in Chile.

Of the 15 Autocosmos Recommendations 2026, five were awarded to models from brands represented by the company: Changan Deepal S05, GWM Poer P500, Subaru Forester, Suzuki Dzire Hybrid, and Suzuki Swift Hybrid, all recognised for their outstanding price-to-product ratio, safety, and equipment. This presence across multiple categories reaffirms the breadth and competitiveness of the group's portfolio, which spans from entry-level vehicles to SUVs and next-generation models.

Additionally, at the Autocosmos Awards 2026, the Suzuki Swift Hybrid was named Car of the Year, while the Subaru Forester earned the title of SUV of the Year, and the Changan CS55 Plus iDD was chosen as Plug-in Electrified Vehicle of the Year, further strengthening the positioning of Inchcape's portfolio among customers and specialised media.

As part of these results, Changan was recognised as Brand of the Year for its electrification strategy, product development, and sales impact, with a strong emphasis on clear and close communication with customers.

Autocosmos highlighted that, for this award, not only were commercial results considered, but also the ability to explain the value proposition and professionally engage with the media - an area where Changan and other brands represented by Inchcape have been leaders in Chile.

These recognitions reflect the leadership of Inchcape in the national automotive sector, demonstrating its ability to compete and gain visibility in an environment where new brands and technologies are introduced each year. At the same time, they position the company as a benchmark player in the adoption and mainstreaming of new sustainable mobility solutions that are more efficient and safer in the country.

Behind these results is the coordinated work of Inchcape's commercial, product, aftersales, marketing, communications, and support teams, all with a common focus: delivering the best customer experience. With these awards, the company reaffirms its commitment to leading the transformation of the Chilean automotive market toward safer, more technological, and sustainable mobility.
