Inchcape reaffirms its leadership in the Peruvian automotive sector

With a market share of 24% by the end of 2025 and a portfolio of more than 10 brands, the company establishes itself as the leading player in the automotive industry in Peru.

Inchcape Peru achieved a market share of 24.2% (+0.9 vs 2024) by the end of 2025, according to the Peruvian Automotive Association (AAP), consolidating its leadership in the automotive industry in the country and reaffirming the company as the number one player in the sector thanks to the trust of Peruvian drivers.

This confirms that nearly one in four new vehicles sold in the Peruvian market during the year was from Inchcape.

“The expansion of our share in the Peruvian automotive industry fills us with pride and demonstrates the trust and value our customers place in our portfolio of brands and services. This is the result of the work of a highly committed team and a clear strategy focused on offering comprehensive and sustainable mobility solutions for individuals and businesses across the country,” said Rafael Prado, Automotive Director of Inchcape Peru.

Performance and market leadership

In Peru, Inchcape drives its leadership through a robust portfolio of brands that includes BMW, MINI, Mazda, Suzuki, Renault, Subaru, JAC AUTOS, DFSK, Changan, GWM, among others, covering all segments of the automotive market with internal combustion, hybrid, and 100% electric options.

This offering is complemented by the largest service network in the country, with more than 100 points of contact including company-owned stores and dealerships, providing a close and accessible service experience nationwide.

Additionally, the company continues to strengthen its digital capabilities and its comprehensive value proposition, which includes financing services, insurance, maintenance, repair, and used vehicle sales, supporting the customer throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Accelerate+ strategy and sustainable mobility

The historic leadership achieved this year is part of the global Accelerate+ strategy, which aims to continue expanding the portfolio, enhancing digital capabilities, and delivering differentiated customer experiences.

In this context, Inchcape Peru is strongly driving the transition towards sustainable mobility, with a 31.9% market share in New Energy Vehicles (NEV) in Peru according to the AAP, including hybrid and electric technologies, and continues to consolidate a leading position in these segments, supported by its global portfolio and accumulated experience in other markets.

With a low motorisation rate still present in Peruvian households and an environment of opportunities for renewing the vehicle fleet, Inchcape projects continued sustainable growth based on a diversified business model, a solid network, and a strong commitment to customer experience.
