Inchcape Chile inaugurates body and paint workshop, the most advanced in its global network

Developed entirely in Chile with an investment of US$2 million, the new workshop raises the standards of premium automotive aftersales in the region. The center, exclusively dedicated to premium brands BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo, and Land Rover, marks a new milestone in the company's global network.

Santiago, January 2026.- With state-of-the-art technology, sustainable processes, and 100% local design, Inchcape Chile inaugurated the most advanced dent and paint (D&P) workshop in its global network. With an investment of US$2 million, this new center establishes itself as a milestone in premium automotive aftersales, combining innovation, technical precision, and sustainability in a unique space worldwide.

Located in Lo Boza, Pudahuel, the workshop spans 5,000 m² of constructed area and 10,000 m² of storage yard, designed under European standards and with Chilean engineering. The facility combines pressurised airtight cabins, lighting tunnels, and endothermic radiation systems, ensuring clean, precise repairs with factory certification and warranty. Its operation is 100% electric, uses water-based paint, and certified renewable energy under LEED standards, making it a benchmark for sustainability in the automotive industry.

“This project reflects our commitment to excellence. We are proud that it was conceived and developed in Chile and that today it sets a new standard for our global operations,” said Jorge Maldonado, General Director of Inchcape Southern Cone, which includes the markets of Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay.

With a capacity for 350 vehicles per month —and a projection of up to 450 units—, the workshop exclusively serves the group's premium brands, including BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo, and Land Rover. Over 100 specialists, trained in Europe, participate in the process, combining craftsmanship and technology to restore each vehicle to its original state and maintain its factory value.

The center is also certified for the repair of electric vehicles, features EV chargers, and maintains a direct relationship with all insurance companies in the country, strengthening its role in the aftersales service chain. Its paved storage yard with sensory LED lighting ensures high standards of security, control, and efficiency in vehicle custody.

“For this workshop, over 100 specialists have been trained to international standards in Europe and the United States, working every day to make this level of service a reality. With this, we aim to elevate premium aftersales in Chile, designing, innovating, and executing world-class solutions with regional and global impact,” said Alejandro Richard, Director of Premium Brands at Inchcape Chile.

This milestone reaffirms the British group's leadership in the premium automotive segment —which accounts for nearly 60% of the high-end market share in the country— and is part of its regional strategy for modernisation and growth in aftersales, consolidating Chile as a benchmark for innovation and sustainable mobility in Latin America.
