Inchcape was awarded in seven of the countries where it represents the Suzuki brand in the Americas, after achieving combined sales of 60,893 units in the region.
Inchcape was recognised with nine awards at the 2026 Suzuki Distributor Conference for Oceania and Latin America, consolidating its regional leadership and outstanding performance in sales, market share, marketing, and operational excellence.
Ten years after the last regional conference in Chile, the country once again hosted the brand’s strategic meeting. The event brought together 25 countries and more than 100 regional leaders, with the presence of senior executives from Suzuki Motor Corporation and Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
During the evaluated period, Inchcape Americas recorded combined sales of 60,893 Suzuki units in the region, a result that earned it the recognition as Top Contributed Distributor, one of the main awards granted by the brand at the regional level.
During the conference, strategic presentations were made to define the path towards 2026, sharing success stories in sales, marketing, and aftersales, along with one-on-one sessions to delve into key topics. Additionally, product plans and upcoming launches were reviewed, strengthening the vision for regional growth and competitiveness.

As part of the program, attendees visited the Headquarters and Movicenter, where they experienced the brand firsthand. The event concluded with a gala dinner that recognised the outstanding performance of various markets and reinforced the commitment to excellence.
2026 Distributor Conference Awards
During the conference, an awards ceremony was held to recognise the outstanding performance of various markets and areas. The awards obtained reflect the strength, consistency, and high performance of the operation in the countries where the British company represents Suzuki:
- Inchcape Americas: Top Contributed Distributor, with 60,893 units sold in the region.
- Inchcape Caribbean Inc. (Barbados): Top Market Share with 29.0% and leadership for more than 20 consecutive years.
- Imcruz Corp. S.A. (Bolivia): Top Market Share with 20.9% share and No. 1 position for 15 consecutive years.
- Derco SpA (Chile): No. 1 in the passenger segment with 23.1% market share, leading the segment for five consecutive years.
- Motores Japoneses S.A. (Panama): Best-selling HEV brand, No. 1 in the hybrid segment with 59.3% share.
- Inchcape Colombia: Best marketing effort, winner of the Gold Effie for best practices in promoting ADAS technologies.
- Vehículos de Trabajo S.A. (Costa Rica): Best fleet sales performance, with 955 units awarded in 2025.
- Derco Perú S.A. (Peru): Outstanding performance in FTIR indicator, achieving a rate of 138% in the first half of FY2025.
- Derco SpA (Chile): Outstanding effort in SSQS training, with 16 executions during the first half of FY2025.
