Inchcape Americas appoints Jaime Ramírez as the new Managing Director for Peru and Bolivia

 

The executive takes on the challenge of consolidating business growth sustainably in Peru and Bolivia, strategic markets for Inchcape in the region. Additionally, he will continue leading the transition towards new energies in the industry.

Inchcape Americas, the world's leading independent automotive distributor, announced the appointment of Jaime Ramírez as the new General Manager of the Southern Andean Cluster, from where he will lead the growth strategy and customer experience in Peru and Bolivia.

Of Colombian nationality, Ramírez holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and an MBA from Columbia University (United States). He has over 22 years of experience in senior management positions, with a career that combines retail, financial services, digital platforms, and strategic consulting in companies across various sectors, including Grupo Falabella, Mercado Libre, Banco BBVA, and McKinsey & Company.

His career has allowed him to develop a comprehensive vision of value creation and business transformation, which he will bring to the Accelerate+ strategy aimed at doubling the company's size globally by 2030, with Peru and Bolivia being key markets in this effort. He will also contribute solid experience in highly digital and customer-centric environments, aligned with the company's purpose of providing mobility to communities around the world, for today, for tomorrow, and for the better.
