Inchcape Americas, the leading global automotive Distributor, announced the appointment of Carlos Pineda as the new General Manager of Inchcape Costa Rica. He will lead the group's operations in the country and the local execution of the Accelerate+ strategy, focused on sustainable growth, business strengthening, and advancing the company in the transition towards new energy mobility, adapted to the conditions and needs of the local market.
Inchcape Costa Rica is part of the CARCAM Cluster, which integrates the markets of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean, and is led by Matías Andreani, Managing Director of CARCAM at Inchcape Americas.
Carlos Pineda has a solid career within Inchcape, where he has held various leadership roles focused on commercial management, business development, and operational strengthening. His career has been characterised by a deep understanding of the automotive market, as well as his ability to lead teams and execute growth plans in transformative contexts, including the progressive incorporation of low- and zero-emission technologies into brand portfolios.
Prior to taking on this new appointment, he served as General Manager of Inchcape Ecuador, a position from which he led the business development in that market, driving the consolidation of the operation, strengthening the brand portfolio, and evolving commercial and customer service models.
