Inchcape, the world's largest independent automotive and machinery distributor, was globally recognised through three of its represented brands in the region—GWM, JAC, and Changan—which collectively received 24 awards at their respective international distributor conferences held in China.
These global gatherings, where each brand brings together its key partners worldwide, aim to recognise distributors with outstanding performance in key areas such as sales, aftersales, brand development, marketing, and operational excellence. In this context, the results achieved by Inchcape reinforce its position as one of the most relevant strategic partners for these brands in Latin America.
Changan
Changan recognised Inchcape with eight regional awards, highlighting the performance of various operations in Latin America in areas such as brand development, products, and service.
Chile received four recognitions: “Vast Ocean Plan Contribution Bronze Award,” “Green Plan Contribution Bronze Award,” “Key Product Contribution Award - Ruixing,” and “Brand Contribution Award.”
Peru was distinguished with the awards “Vast Ocean Plan Contribution Bronze Award” and “Key Product Contribution Award - CS15,” while Costa Rica received the recognition “Marketing Excellence Achiever.” Meanwhile, Inchcape Bolivia - Imcruz was recognised with the “Services Excellence Award,” highlighting the quality of its management and service in the local market.
GWM
In the case of GWM, the brand recognised Inchcape at its Global Conference with eight awards reflecting the regional performance of the operation. At the country level, Chile was awarded the recognitions “Top Performance,” “Brand Sales Excellence Pickup,” and “Fleet Excellence,” while Colombia received the recognition “Market Expansion Pioneer” for its growth and market development, and Peru was distinguished with the “President’s Nomination Award.”
Additionally, three individual awards were granted to executives in Chile: Fernando Maldonado received the “Annual Sales Star Award,” Felipe Acevedo the “Annual Marketing Star Award,” and José Manuel Pérez the “Annual Performance Star Award,” highlighting their contribution to the brand's growth.
JAC
Meanwhile, JAC recognised Inchcape at its global distributor meeting with eight awards across various markets in the region, reflecting its comprehensive performance in sales, aftersales, and operations.
In Chile, the machinery operation was distinguished with the “Operation Excellence Award,” while in Peru, recognitions such as “Sales Star,” “After Sales Star,” “Operation Excellence Award,” and “Best Global Distributor Award,” one of the conference's top honours, were achieved.
In Colombia, the brand highlighted Inchcape with the awards “Best After Sales Award” and “Promising Award,” and in Costa Rica with the recognition “Sales Star,” demonstrating consistent results across different countries.
