At Inchcape, we are continuously investing in technical training, tailored learning and development opportunities to ensure our teams, and the communities they operate in, are well equipped for the future of mobility.
As global mobility shits toward new technologies and lower-carbon vehicles, developing the rights skills has never been more important. Through partnerships with schools, universities and local institutions, we have created initiatives that bring real-world experience and enable career development for both Inchcape colleagues and future talent.

In Chile, Inchcape has partnered with INACAP, an education institution in Chile, and technical high schools around the country through its Cauce programme to promote young talent in the automotive and machinery sectors. More than 30 students are currently enrolled, building the hands-on skills and industry knowledge needed to excel in the automotive sector, specifically in vehicle and truck maintenance.
In Singapore, Inchcape is strengthening new energy vehicle capabilities through a partnership with Singapore Polytechnic, delivering courses on the fundamentals of EVs to over 230 colleagues. These programmes upskill our colleagues, enabling them to sharpen their expertise and better support customers. This initiative also aligns with Singapore’s 2030 Green Plan.

In Ethiopia, MOENCO, an Inchcape company, collaborates with educational institutions to offer internships, apprenticeships, and training. In 2024, we proudly welcomed 19 interns from six institutions, enhancing their practical capabilities, and 24 apprentices joined our team after the end of their program, with over half of our current aftersales workshop team coming from this talent pipeline. By equipping local talent with future-ready skills, we’re driving innovation and supporting Ethiopia’s workforce development goals.
Overall, these programmes reflect Inchcape’s commitment to people development, ensuring our colleagues have the right skills to shape the future of mobility.
