- With notable participation in talks and activities, Inchcape drives the transition towards clean and safe mobility, reaffirming its leadership in the Peruvian automotive sector.
Inchcape, the world's leading independent automotive distributor, participated for the first time in the Peru Sustainable Summit 2025, the country's most important sustainability forum and festival, reaffirming its purpose of driving cleaner, more inclusive, and community-connected mobility.
During the event, held from 23 to 25 October, Marcia King, Responsible Business Manager at Inchcape, took part in the session "Let’s Talk About Sustainability," where findings from the first study on sustainable mobility in Latin America, "Engines of Change 2025," conducted by the company and Ipsos, were presented.
This study revealed that the vast majority of Latin Americans perceive personal mobility as a key factor in improving their quality of life, associating it with access to employment, education, and social life.
Additionally, it was highlighted that Peru is among the Latin American countries with the best perception of new energy vehicles (NEVs), and personal mobility or private cars have become the most used and preferred means of transport post-pandemic.
As part of the summit, Antonio Rivera, leader of the Emissions Committee and Director of Premium Automotive at Inchcape, participated in the Peru Sustainable podcast alongside representatives from the automotive sector, addressing road safety topics and sustainability initiatives driven by the group in the country.
Furthermore, Inchcape featured an interactive stand where attendees could learn more about the company and its sustainable mobility offerings. The highlight was the display of the JAC e-30x vehicle, a 100% electric SUV that redefines corporate transportation. This model combines precision robotics and cutting-edge design to deliver a vehicle synonymous with efficiency and sustainability.
"Our participation in Peru Sustainable reflects Inchcape's commitment to cleaner, more inclusive mobility that connects with local communities. We believe mobility is a force for progress — because it unlocks opportunities, drives development, and improves people's quality of life. That’s why we work every day to lead this transition in the country, combining innovation, sustainability, and a deeply local perspective," highlighted Marcia King, Responsible Business Manager at Inchcape.
Inchcape Peru and its green route

The company is constantly working towards becoming carbon neutral by 2040 and establishing itself as the greenest route to market.
Inchcape drives programmes such as "Sustainable Route," which develops practices aimed at reducing the carbon footprint at the company’s sites; "I Move Safely Kids," an initiative promoting a culture of safe mobility from childhood; among other carbon reduction projects.
Inchcape in Peru leads the industry with a portfolio of 14 recognised brands, offering vehicles with internal combustion, hybrid, and 100% electric technologies, contributing to emissions reduction and fostering cleaner mobility.
Our participation in Peru Sustainable reaffirms Inchcape's commitment to cleaner, more inclusive mobility that connects with local communities. In Peru, this translates into concrete actions: from adopting electric vehicles and promoting more sustainable technologies to educational programmes on road safety and environmental awareness. These initiatives reflect how we bring our global objective of delivering the mobility of the future to people and creating a positive impact in every market where we operate into practice.
