Inchcape, the world's largest automotive group, in partnership with Ayurá Group, announced the opening of its new Experience Centre in the city of Medellín, located in the Ayurá Center building (Carrera 48 #26 sur – 27, Avenida Las Vegas, Envigado). This space represents a strategic initiative by the group to strengthen its presence in the Aburrá Valley and transform the traditional automotive sales model in Colombia.
The construction and adaptation of the centre involved an investment of approximately 7.6 billion pesos, directly impacting the economic and urban development of Envigado and Medellín. Additionally, a 12% increase in direct employment is projected in areas such as sales, customer service, logistics, and administration, as well as new indirect employment opportunities in outsourced services such as security, cleaning, events, and local suppliers.
“With this opening, we continue to consolidate our expansion strategy in Colombia. Beyond selling vehicles, we aim to deliver memorable brand experiences that integrate all our services and bring customers closer to a new standard of care, trust, and innovation,” said Héctor Corredor, Managing Director of Inchcape Colombia.
The brands Suzuki, Citroën, Subaru, Seres, and GWM converge in an environment designed to offer comprehensive customer service: from vehicle showrooms to after-sales services, spare parts sales, and specialised workshops, all in one place.
The new Ayurá Group Experience Centre not only unifies Inchcape's commercial and service offerings in the region but also represents a transformation in how it engages with customers, thanks to a completely revamped design and the integration of physical and digital channels that allow for easier exploration, comparison, and decision-making with greater convenience and support.
“It is essential to have a partner like Inchcape to offer an innovative sales experience for Medellín and the Aburrá Valley. Our expertise in this competitive market is complemented by a broad portfolio that provides multiple budget options, technology, and after-sales services,” said Carolina Trujillo, Brand Manager of Ayurá Group.
Furthermore, this opening energises the construction and services sector in the area, contributing to the development of the Las Vegas–Ayurá corridor as a strategic hub for the automotive sector and generating increased commercial activity for nearby businesses.
With this launch, Inchcape takes another step in its strategy to transform the vehicle purchasing experience in Colombia, consolidating its leadership as one of the country's most innovative automotive groups.
