- With cutting-edge technology and international support, the company is leading the transition towards a more sustainable automotive sector, supporting the growing preference for electric vehicles in the region.
The future of mobility has already arrived in Bolivia. As part of World Electric Vehicle Day, Imcruz – Inchcape Bolivia highlights a key step in this transformation: its first specialised workshop for electric vehicles (EVs), a pioneering space in the country that reinforces its leadership in innovation, sustainability, and comprehensive customer support.
What is an EV?
EV stands for Electric Vehicle. Unlike traditional cars that rely on petrol or diesel, EVs use an electric motor powered by a battery. There are different types: fully electric vehicles (BEVs) operate solely on batteries, while plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) combine an electric motor with a combustion engine.
A unique space in the country
Located in Santa Cruz, on Grigotá Avenue before the fourth ring road, the new workshop has been designed to the highest safety standards and is equipped with the necessary infrastructure and tools to provide total confidence and support to electric vehicle users. Its main features include:
- Exclusive lift for electric vehicles.
- Certified tools for high-voltage work.
- Specialised laboratory for battery diagnostics and repairs.
- Dielectric floors, protective equipment, and unique safety protocols in the market.
- Specialised service, with certified technicians, for six electric vehicle brands in the Imcruz portfolio: Renault, Mazda, Changan (Deepal and Avatr), JAC.
- Additionally, it has a complete stock of 100% original spare parts, ensuring quality and durability in every service.
“We are supporting our customers and ensuring the best technical support, safety, and comprehensive backing,” said Luis Yáñez, Technical Assistance Manager at Imcruz – Inchcape Bolivia.
