Imcruz Inchcape Bolivia and Suzuki reward solidarity with a brand-new vehicle

  • A doctor from Cochabamba was the winner of a Suzuki Alto 2025, raffled during the UNICEF Telethon 2025. The initiative reaffirms the commitment of both brands to Bolivian families and solidarity actions.

In an emotional event held in the city of Cochabamba, Imcruz - Inchcape Bolivia, together with Suzuki and UNICEF, presented a brand-new vehicle to María Lucy Solís Rejas, the winner of the raffle conducted during the sixth edition of the Telethon “Time to Act”, held on the main stage of Expocruz 2025.

Imcruz - Inchcape Bolivia, a sponsor and partner of UNICEF, contributed by donating a Suzuki Alto 2025 model as part of its commitment to the country, combining mobility, solidarity, and responsibility—values that guide the company’s purpose of delivering mobility to communities worldwide for today, tomorrow, and a better future.

“At Imcruz, we believe that mobility goes beyond vehicles: it’s about creating opportunities, hope, and well-being for the communities where we are present. Our partnership with UNICEF in the Telethon reflects our commitment to transforming lives and fostering Bolivia’s development,” stated Carola Barzon, People Manager of Imcruz – Inchcape Bolivia.

Meanwhile, Katya Marino, UNICEF’s representative in Bolivia, expressed her gratitude for the company’s sustained support of this noble cause. “We thank Imcruz-Inchcape Bolivia and all the partners who made the 2025 Telethon possible. We congratulate the winner and celebrate her commitment to the children of Bolivia. Together, we continue to ensure health, protection, and opportunities for all,” she said.

An inspiring story: mobility in the service of health

María Lucy Solís, a family doctor from Cochabamba with over 30 years of experience, shared her emotional reaction upon learning she had won the vehicle: “When I saw my name during the Telethon, I felt immense joy. It wasn’t just a prize; it was a true blessing.”

In addition to being a regular donor to UNICEF, Solís is familiar with Imcruz, having purchased her first vehicle from the company. She values its close connection and commitment to the country. “I’ve always considered them a company that cares for Bolivians, which is why this prize holds special meaning for me,” she expressed.

For the doctor, the brand-new Suzuki Alto will be a vital tool for continuing her visits to elderly patients and individuals with reduced mobility, demonstrating how mobility can drive social impact.
