GWM opens its first branch in southern Chile

  • Located at O’Higgins 36, the new branch aims to bring the GWM experience closer to all of Chile, offering a spacious, personalised environment and the complete range of its product lines.

With the goal of further consolidating its presence in the country and getting closer to its customers, GWM (Great Wall Motors) has inaugurated its new headquarters in Concepción, the first of several branches to be opened in different regions of the country.

Located at O’Higgins 36, this new branch will offer a more personalised and accessible experience, allowing visitors to explore the brand’s complete portfolio firsthand, which includes its four product lines: Poer, Haval, Tank, and ORA.

The new facility spans a total area of 1,120 m², with 290 m² dedicated to the sales area and 830 m² to technical services. The dealership is operated by Sergio Escobar, one of the most prominent players in the automotive sector in southern Chile, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintenance, and advice.

“With this opening, we are launching a national strategy aimed at decentralising the GWM experience and being present where our customers need us. Concepción is a key location, and we are proud that this new space welcomes our users with warm, approachable, and professional service,” said Fernando Maldonado, General Manager of Great Wall Motors Chile.

This opening reflects GWM’s commitment—a brand that is part of the portfolio of Inchcape, the world’s leading independent automotive distributor—to regional development, offering a modern, comfortable space designed for every customer to explore, test, and connect with the brand’s DNA.
