Inchcape, the world's leading independent automotive distributor, announced the appointment of Claudia Manterola —current Director of Financing and Insurance & Life Cycle Businesses and a member of Jorge Maldonado's executive committee in Chile— to a regional leadership position within the Americas team as VP Commercial Excellence Americas. With 28 years of experience in the company, Claudia exemplifies internal professional development and the consolidation of female talent in the industry.
With this appointment, Inchcape Americas reinforces its commitment to diversity, gender equity, and the promotion of local talent into roles with global impact. In her new role, Claudia will be responsible for driving the regional strategy for excellence in distribution and value-added services, including Logistics, Network, Financing and Insurance, and After-Sales. Additionally, she will lead the digital strategy for the entire Americas region. These areas are projected to be key drivers of Inchcape's growth in Latin America.
With 28 years of experience, first at Derco and later at Inchcape, Claudia has led transformation processes in retail, financing, insurance, and after-sales. At Derco, she established the Value Realization Office and served as General Manager of Autoplanet. Following the integration with Inchcape, she took on the role of Director of Financing and Insurance & Lifecycle Business Chile, leading projects such as the new operational model for VAS and the optimisation of the spare parts business.
