In line with its commitment to leading the transition towards cleaner mobility in the region, Inchcape Chile announces the launch of the new Changan CS55 Plus IDD, the brand's first self-charging plug-in hybrid SUV in the country.
With this model, Changan joins the portfolio of brands represented by Inchcape that are incorporating new energy technologies. The CS55 Plus IDD stands out for its advanced Intelligent Dual Drive (IDD) technology, which combines a combustion engine with an electric motor, offering a combined range of up to 1,085 kilometres and a mixed fuel consumption of 76.9 km/l.
Available in Luxury and Elite versions, this SUV not only delivers energy efficiency but also features a modern design, a comprehensive safety package, and a comfortable driving experience, making it ideal for families seeking a more sustainable alternative without compromising performance or equipment.
“The new CS55 Plus IDD marks the beginning of a new chapter for Changan in Chile. It is the first of several electrified models to arrive this year, offering high-level technology at accessible prices,” highlighted Rodrigo Palma, Changan Group Manager for Inchcape Americas.
This launch reinforces Inchcape's commitment to sustainable development and to providing Chilean consumers with more efficient mobility options, reaffirming its leadership in the new energy vehicle segment.
