At the Americas Brand and Business Summit 2024, recently held in Las Vegas, BMW was awarded first place in sustainability and best importer in customer loyalty for Financial Services, reaffirming its position as an industry leader in these critical areas. BMW's sustainability strategy is also evident through concrete actions in its daily operations. This includes neutralising the carbon footprint of its new vehicles, using renewable energy in its facilities, implementing comprehensive recycling programmes, and adopting advanced technologies to improve the energy efficiency of its vehicles and processes. In Chile, for instance, the installation of 574 solar panels at its branches has neutralised 8,979 tons of CO2; this is just one example of how the brand integrates sustainable practices into its operating model.
