Championing underrepresented talent in the UK
We are excited to announce that Inchcape has become a corporate community member of the 10,000 Interns Foundation in the UK, a pioneering organisation that provides paid work experience to underrepresented groups across a wide range of sectors.
Why this matters to Inchcape
As a global business, it is essential for us to prioritise and champion inclusion and diversity at every level. Our UK Partnership with the 10,000 Interns Foundation represents a meaningful step to creating equity of opportunity and tapping into often-overlooked talent pools, this is crucial in building a more diverse talent pipeline that better reflects the communities where we work.
“The 10,000 Interns Foundation does important work, and we are pleased that our financial support enables them to broaden their reach, continue fostering inclusive practices, and drive culture change across industries. By the end of Summer 2024, Inchcape will have provided 20 paid internships in our UK Head Office, contributing to the 5,000 internships created in just 3 years by the foundation. We are proud that our support ensures this vital work continues to grow,” said Sarah Charlesworth Head of Inclusion and Diversity.
Looking ahead
This partnership is a reflection of our One Inchcape and our commitment to creating a more inclusive and diverse workplace. Together, we can make a significant impact by championing underrepresented talent and creating a more equitable future for all.
