Subaru Academy: the new regional platform enhancing the brand experience in Latin America

 

The regional Subaru team at Inchcape Americas has officially launched Subaru Academy, a new regional training platform designed to strengthen the capabilities of teams in the markets where Inchcape distributes the brand in Latin America. The initiative aims to ensure a consistent Subaru experience across all customer touchpoints and to continue reinforcing what makes the brand unique.

The initiative will impact more than 600 colleagues in the Subaru network across six markets in the region: Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, and Bolivia, including sales teams, management, and aftersales teams.

The programme was created in response to the specific needs of a highly differentiated brand within the automotive industry, whose attributes require specialised teams to effectively communicate its value proposition.

Pía Vera, Regional Director of Subaru at Inchcape Americas, highlighted that this launch represents a strategic step for the sustainable growth of the brand in the region: “Subaru has a unique proposition in the industry, and this demands highly trained teams to accurately convey our differentiation. With Subaru Academy, we are strengthening our regional capabilities, ensuring a consistent experience for our customers, and preparing our network for the future growth of the brand in Latin America.”

 

Programme structure

Subaru Academy includes more than 80 hours of annual training per participant, with each module featuring assessments, certifications, and individual follow-ups to ensure continuous learning throughout the year.

Regional recognition

The programme will culminate in an annual regional performance and training ranking, where the top salespeople and advisors from the six countries will qualify for the first Subaru Regional Olympics. This event will aim to recognise talent, share best practices, and continue raising the brand’s standards in the region.
