- The company formalised its commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in seven of its markets in the region: Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Barbados, Panama, and Peru. Additionally, the operation in Bolivia joined the initiative in 2024.
As part of International Women’s Month, Inchcape announced its commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a global initiative that promotes gender equality and the empowerment of women. The company formalised this commitment in seven of its markets in the region: Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Barbados, Panama, and Peru, while Bolivia had already joined the initiative in 2024.
With this signing, the automotive company reaffirms its commitment to continue strengthening an inclusive organisational culture, where talent can thrive under equal conditions, and more women can access senior leadership positions within the organisation.
“Joining the WEPs is a clear signal of our commitment to a culture where everyone can fully develop their potential. We know that diversity strengthens decision-making, drives innovation, and improves our results. Promoting female leadership is not just a belief but also a strategic decision for the future of Inchcape,” said Ximena Rodríguez, Sustainability Manager for Inchcape Americas.
The WEPs provide a roadmap to advance in areas such as inclusive leadership, equal opportunities, professional development, progress measurement, and accountability. For Inchcape, this commitment represents a significant step in consolidating its sustainability strategy and responsible business practices, integrating diversity as a key enabler for the company’s performance and sustainable growth.
In line with these commitments, the company aims for 30% of its executive leadership positions in the region to be held by women.

In recent years, the company has made progress in strengthening policies and practices aimed at increasing female participation in senior leadership roles, as well as developing initiatives focused on training, mentoring, and talent management with an inclusive approach.
Joining the WEPs will enable Inchcape to continue deepening these actions, setting clear goals, monitoring indicators, and sharing best practices both regionally and globally.
