Through the Destination Charging programme, the company, in collaboration with Copec Voltex, has installed new chargers at Casa Costanera and Viña Montes, with the aim of becoming a carbon-neutral company by 2030.

In its pursuit of becoming a globally carbon-neutral company by 2030, Porsche continues to make significant strides towards electromobility. The company has recently installed five electric charging points in Chile.

Through a collaboration with Copec Voltex, the German firm installed five public chargers, distributed across three regions of the country: in Santiago, in Santa Cruz in the O’Higgins region, and in Concepción in the Biobío region.

“This agreement aims to provide greater peace of mind to our customers and make their road trips easier and more comfortable, thanks to the Porsche Destination Charging network, which promotes free charging for electric and plug-in hybrid models at public locations for our customers,” commented Vicente Díaz, Porsche’s manager in Chile.

The aforementioned charging points are located at Casa Costanera in Santiago (with three chargers), Viña Montes (one charger) in Santa Cruz, and at the Solo Carnes restaurant in Concepción (one charger). At all these locations, customers can charge their vehicles—both fully electric and plug-in hybrids—free of charge.

This programme offers various collaboration models to make life easier for Porsche electric vehicle users, and thanks to the Destination Charging project, the brand expects to install more charging points during 2024 to continue contributing to electric mobility.
