The awards ceremony, organised by the Chilean newspaper, recognised BMW, Mazda, Subaru, and Porsche models across six categories, with four of these awards going to the German brands, specifically in the premium and sports car segments.
The seventeenth edition of the “Los Mejores” awards, presented by the media outlet MT La Tercera, announced the winning vehicles of 2023. Among them were six models from brands represented by Inchcape Americas, which were honoured among 45 finalists from approximately 130 launches over the past year. BMW, Porsche, Subaru, and Mazda had standout models in the awards, with the first two brands each securing two category wins.
The BMW 7 Series won the award for “Best Premium Car,” while the BMW M2 was named “Best Sports Car.” Porsche, meanwhile, saw the 911 GT3 RS and Cayenne take home the titles of “Best Supercar” and “Best Premium SUV,” respectively. The Japanese brands were not left behind, as the Subaru Crosstrek won the award for “Best SUV.” Meanwhile, Mazda and its CX-60 were recognised as the “Best Large SUV.”
