In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality workmanship for the servicing of vehicles within a timely manner. You will also deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction, ensuring Inchcape Retail is the most customer centric automotive retailer in Australia.
What you’ll do
Complete jobs allocated by the Workshop Controller.
Advise the Workshop Controller immediately of issues that may impact you completing allocated jobs within the required timeframes.
Prior to commencing a service, read the RO to ensure you are aware of what needs to be completed and liaise with the Service Advisor if there are concerns.
Clock on and off RO’s electronically, so service records and accuracy of productivity and efficiency data can be maintained.
Road test all vehicles prior to job commencing and after job completion, noting any areas of concern.
Diagnose and fix any technical problems with the vehicle, consulting the Foreman or Workshop Controller of any issues.
About you to be successful in this role you will be:
Previous experience in an automotive technician position
Knowledge of the Automotive Industry
Experience working within a Team Environment
Automotive Trade Technician Certificate
Knowledge or experience working on the specific Brand of Vehicle
