We’re looking for a standout National Sales Manager to lead our next phase of growth. This is your opportunity to shape national performance, influence a high-performing dealer network, and make a tangible impact on one of Australia’s most admired brands.
The opportunity
This is more than a sales leadership role—it’s a chance to set the pace for Subaru across Australia. Reporting to the General Manager of Subaru, you will:
Lead Subaru’s national sales strategy across vehicle sales, market share, profitability and customer experience.
Drive dealer network performance through clear expectations, regular reviews and targeted action plans.
Lead, coach and develop a national team of Regional Managers and a Sales Operations Manager.
Act as a trusted face of the Subaru brand across the dealer network.
Build and strengthen dealer relationships to support long-term performance.
Manage sales forecasting, orderwrite, delivery performance and inventory outcomes.
Support performance across accessories, parts and Subaru Financial Services penetration.
Partner with internal teams across marketing, fleet, ownership experience, finance, logistics and network development.
Use reporting and insights to identify opportunities, address underperformance and improve outcomes.
Lead from the front with energy, integrity and a strong sense of personal accountability.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role for a leader who thrives on momentum, relationships and results.
About you
You are an experienced senior sales leader, ideally from automotive, with a strong understanding of dealer, franchise, distributor, channel partner or B2B network environments.
You have led high-performing sales teams and know how to drive results through others. You are commercially strong, relationship-led and confident working across complex networks where influence, trust and accountability are key to performance.
You will bring the credibility to partner with dealers and senior stakeholders, the confidence to lead with clarity, and the judgement to balance commercial outcomes with long-term brand and customer experience.
To be successful, you will have:
Senior sales leadership experience, ideally within automotive, OEM, distributor, dealer, franchise or B2B network environments.
A genuine, hands-on leadership style with strong personal accountability, who leads with inspiration, impact and trust.
Experience working across complex dealer, franchise, channel partner or B2B sales networks.
Proven ability to deliver sales, market share, customer experience and profitability outcomes.
Experience leading high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen, forecasting capability and performance discipline.
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
Automotive experience is highly desirable, including retail automotive, OEM, distribution, automotive finance or aligned commercial environments.
