Our NCI is seeking a IT Cloud Engineer Professional to join our team in the Philippines.The IT Cloud Engineer Professional is responsible for management and administration of cloud platforms, applications and computer services that are under the takeover of the NCI Operation area, to achieve high performance of the business applications supported. This includes ensuring the hight availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of cloud environment and learn best practices for deploying resources in the cloud and how to harness the full potential of the cloud to build them at the lowest cost and highest performance
What you'll do
- Administer and maintain cloud platforms and services.
- Ensure infrastructure availability, security, and performance.
- Act as a technical reference and promote cloud best practices.
- Monitor environments, mitigate risks, and propose improvements.
- Participate in the design and implementation of cloud and on-premise solutions.
- Collaborate with global project and operations teams
- Manage incidents, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Support cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
- Availability to work across time zones and 7x24 support models.
About you
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services: App Services, Azure Functions, Virtual Machines, Storage, Key Vault, Networking, Entra ID (Azure AD), and DNS.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure, Windows and Linux Server, Active Directory, and PKI/Certificate Services.
- Secrets management and access control using Azure Key Vault.
- Azure AD application registrations, service principals, role-based access control (RBAC), and permissions management.
- Secure configuration and hardening of GPOs and privileged access management.
- Design and deployment of Azure networking components: VNETs, peering, route tables, VPN S2S, Private Link, NSGs, vHUB, firewalls, network segmentation, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Secure remote access implementations including Bastion, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Understanding of business processes and their alignment with IT policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300) are desirable.
