Our IT Operations Platform is seeking a Cloud Architect to help design, implement, and optimize cloud and infrastructure solutions that support our global markets.
What you'll do
- Design, evaluate, and support cloud, network, and on-premises infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and cost optimization principles.
- Partner with Architecture, Project, and Service Delivery teams to implement cloud and infrastructure solutions across global Inchcape markets.
- Participate in solution design, architecture reviews, deployments, migrations, and operational support activities while ensuring compliance with approved architectures and security baselines.
- Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation, support capacity planning initiatives, and contribute to technology standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior consultants and engineers while sharing knowledge and supporting their development.
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery activities, incident resolution, and operational excellence across the IT Operations platform.
- Leverage expertise in Azure, GCP, Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, networking, identity management, and cloud governance to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) and AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator) certifications required
- AZ-305 or equivalent Azure/GCP certifications are an advantage
- Strong experience with cloud environments, hybrid infrastructure, and infrastructure operations
- Advanced knowledge of Azure services, Azure AD, Azure DNS, IAM, cost management, and migration tools
- Expertise in Windows and Linux administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix
