Bulgaria: Toyota Bulgaria scoops silver finalist award at prestigious marketing ceremony

October 2017: Inchcape’s business in Bulgaria has been recognised as a Silver Finalist in the “Best Marketing Team in Brand Activation” category at the Bulgarian Association of Advertisers (BAA) Awards. The accolade follows Toyota Bulgaria’s successful Toyota Hybrid 2016 Educational Campaign.

Marking the fourth year in a row that it has won an award at this prestigious event, Toyota Bulgaria’s campaign around hybrid models captured the judges’ imagination as an example of an innovative piece of marketing communications. The campaign brought together digital media and performance marketing elements and as a result the business saw increased hybrid model sales and an uptick in online traffic.

The BAA Awards are aimed at highlighting the most effective marketing projects on the market, evaluated by a highly respected jury of top marketing professionals, university professors and research/advertising agencies. Toyota Bulgaria was the only representative from the automotive sector and was up against household brand names including the Coca-Cola Company, Mobiltel, Heineken and Decathlon.

In Bulgaria, Inchcape is the distributor for Toyota and Lexus.
