Mentoring programmes empower colleagues across regions

At Inchcape, we are proudly creating a culture of continuous learning and empowering our colleagues to achieve their best work. Our mentoring programmes play a vital role in supporting our colleagues’ development and leadership growth, building a strong talent pipeline as we help shape the future of mobility.
Our Europe & Africa mentoring programme is now in its second year. This time, 26 mentees were matched with 22 mentors from across the region’s diverse markets and functions. Together, they commit to at least six sessions and work to achieve the mentee’s goals. Throughout this process, they are also supported by two group mentoring labs designed to spark conversation and enable deeper learning.
Last year’s inaugural programmes received particularly strong feedback, with a 4.6 out 5 satisfaction rating and 96% of participants saying it met or exceeded their expectations.
Inchcape’s South Asia & Pacific mentoring programmed launched in February 2024 and has received impressive engagement. Twelve mentor-mentee pairs from different markets have graduated with over 200 hours of meaningful conversation focused on career growth and leadership development. With such strong commitment from our colleagues, a second programme was launched this year.
We’re committed to growing these programmes and introducing mentoring opportunities across more of our markets, including in the Americas. During the third quarter of this year, our colleagues in the Americas will launch a dedicated mentoring programme designed to support leadership development, inclusion and career growth for key talent in the region.
