Juan Felipe Salgado joins Mercedes-Benz Colombia as Managing Director

• Following an internal selection process, the company has chosen Juan Felipe to take the reins of this business, which will continue to operate as an independent cluster within Inchcape Colombia.

With over 16 years of professional experience, 11 of them in the automotive sector, initially with Indumotora and later with Inchcape Peru after its acquisition, support the professional career of this Business Management Engineer, with an MBA in International Management and an International Master’s in Leadership.

He stands out for his leadership, automotive brand management, marketing, commercial management, sales, and project management, among other skills. He arrives in Colombia after holding the position of Automotive Director, where he consolidated Subaru, DFSK, Citroën, Renault, and JAC brands in the Peruvian market.

Juan Felipe will lead the vehicle operation, vans, and the integration of Mercedes-Benz Colombia with the Caribbean.

We trust that, with his experience and team management skills, he will contribute to the German brand achieving its strategic objectives for 2024 in the Colombian automotive market.
