Nigel Stein
Nigel Stein

Nigel was Chief Executive of GKN plc until his retirement in December 2017. He has a wide range of international, general management and finance experience gained in various roles at GKN plc and also has experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Nigel is also a Non-Executive Director of James Hardie Industries plc and is a chartered accountant.

Duncan Tait
Duncan Tait

Duncan was on the Board of Fujitsu Ltd, a global technology services company with responsibility for EMEIA & Americas, a business with $10bn turnover and 35,000 people. He has significant international experience, holding senior roles at Unisys, Hewlett Packard and Compaq in a technology focused career of over 30 years.

Duncan is also non-executive director at Agilisys.

Adrian Lewis
Adrian Lewis

Group Chief Financial Officer

Adrian Lewis was appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer in May 2023. Adrian Lewis joined Inchcape in 2015, initially as CFO for the Emerging Markets region where he played a leading role the Indumotora acquisition and integration, at the time Inchcape’s most significant acquisition for many years. Adrian subsequently moved to Singapore as CFO for the Asia Pacific region, Inchcape’s most profitable region. In October 2020, Adrian returned to the UK to lead the finance function as Group Financial Controller.  Prior to Inchcape Adrian held various senior finance roles at Tesco.

Adrian is a CIMA qualified chartered accountant.

Jerry Buhlmann
Jerry Buhlmann

Jerry has over 40 years’ experience in the media and advertising industries. He was formerly CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network and Aegis Group PLC.

Jerry is Non-Executive Chair of Croud Holdings Ltd, Hybrid, and global digital agency Dept. Jerry is also Non- Executive Director of Serviceplan Group, and Senior Advisor for OC&C’s TMT Practice.

Jane Kingston
Jane Kingston

Jane served as Group Human Resources Director for Compass Group PLC from 2006 until her retirement in 2016. Jane also held senior positions at Enodis PLC, Blue Circle PLC (now Lafarge SA) and Coats Viyella PLC. Jane has significant remuneration experience and is Remuneration Committee Chair of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc.

Sarah Kuijlaars
Sarah Kuijlaars

Sarah was Chief Financial Officer of De Beers plc, as well as previously being a Non-Executive Director at Aggreko plc, a FTSE 250 power provider. Sarah was also previously CFO of Arcadis NV, listed on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Prior to this, Sarah was Deputy CFO at Rolls Royce Holdings plc, and held a number of senior financial leadership roles during a 25-year career at Royal Dutch Shell plc. Sarah has a Mathematics degree from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Alex Jensen
Alex Jensen

Alex is the designated Non-Executive Director responsible for workforce engagement. Alex is an international divisional CEO with considerable experience in transforming and growing customer-facing businesses. She is the CEO of National Express’ UK & Ireland and Germany divisions. Alex was formerly CEO of Mobility and Convenience, Europe and Southern Africa at bp plc where she led the region’s fleet, retail and convenience food business across 14 countries. Alex also serves on the Board of the charity Mind.

Alex holds an MA Hons degree in Chinese Studies from Oxford University and a Masters from Stanford University School of Business.

Nayantara Bali
Nayantara Bali

Appointed – May 2021

Nayantara is director and co-owner of ANV Consulting Pte. She previously held several senior management positions in Procter & Gamble. Nayantara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad).

Nayantara is an independent director of Torrent Pharma, and a Non-Executive Director of Starhub.

Juan Pablo Del Río Goudie
Juan Pablo Del Río Goudie

Juan Pablo served on the board of the Derco group until its acquisition by Inchcape in 2022, when Juan Pablo joined the Board of Inchcape plc as Non-Executive Director. In addition, Juan Pablo is currently a member of the board of directors of Cruzados S.A.D.P. (a company with shares listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange) and is chairman of Sodimac S.A, a position he has held since 1986. He was a member of the board of directors of Falabella S.A., a company with shares listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange, between 2015 and 2020 and has held a number of senior leadership roles across a range of companies within the automotive, retail and real estate sectors in Latin America.

Byron Grote
Byron Grote

Byron has extensive experience across a range of leading international businesses at Board level, particularly in finance and chairing audit committees. Having previously been Chief Financial Officer at BP plc between 2002 to 2011, Byron is currently Senior Independent Director at Tesco plc, Non-Executive Director at InterContinental Hotels Group plc, and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Akzo Nobel N.V. Byron has previously served on the Boards of Anglo-American plc, Standard Chartered plc, and Unilever plc.

Stuart Rowley

Appointed – July 2023

Stuart Rowley brings a deep understanding of the global automotive industry to the Board and has extensive international experience. Stuart recently retired from Ford Motor Company after more than 30 years’ service, starting from a finance leader before transitioning to general management, operations and strategy roles, and finally as President and Chair of Ford Europe, and Chief Transformation & Quality Officer of Ford Motor Company.

Stuart was formally a Non-Executive Board member of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, a lobbying and standards group representing Europe’s major car, truck, van, and bus manufacturers, which includes many of our OEM partners.

Stuart holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Mike Bowers
Mike Bowers

Group General Counsel and Chief Sustainability Officer

Mike joined the Group in October 2015 as Group General Counsel.  In that role, he is responsible for the delivery of legal services across the Group and is instrumental in driving our legal and regulatory compliance programme – a core part of what it means to be a Responsible Business.  He is a leading contributor to the Group’s M&A strategy, playing a significant role in the transactions that have helped to significantly re-shape our business over the last seven years, including the acquisitions of Derco, Grupo Rudelman, Indumotora and Simpson Motors.

Mike was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer in 2023.  In that role, he leads the Group’s response to climate change helping us to deliver on our aim to be the lowest carbon route to market for our OEM partners and ensuring that we understand, report and act upon our climate change risks and opportunities.

Liz Brown
Liz Brown

Chief Strategy Officer

Liz Brown joined Inchcape in February 2023.

Liz has over twenty years’ experience in consulting, investment, telecoms and FMCG and joined Inchcape from Diageo, the global drinks manufacturer and distributor, where she held the role of Group Strategy Director and Global Head of Business Development. Liz also had overall responsibility for Diageo’s start-up acceleration business, Distill Ventures, developing a portfolio of successful new businesses which resulted in several successful acquisitions into Diageo.

Prior to Diageo, Liz held strategic and senior roles at Currys plc, Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc and LEK Consulting LLC.

Helen Cunningham

Chief Human Resources Officer

Helen was appointed Chief HR Officer in September 2020. Helen joined Inchcape in 2016, initially as HR Director for the UK before moving to Emerging Markets in 2017. As part of successive regional executive teams, Helen has brought a combination of deep functional expertise and strong operational leadership to her role. In particular, she has developed significant M&A capability within the business over several step-change acquisitions, working directly with our OEM partners, effectively onboarding new teams and leaders, and integrating businesses. Prior to her career at Inchcape, Helen held a succession of Director level HR and operational roles in companies spanning a broad range of industries including banking, FMCG, private equity and strategic outsourcing.

Mark Dearnley

Chief Digital Officer

Mark Dearnley joined Inchcape as Chief Digital Officer in October 2020. Formerly, Mark was Partner at the global management consulting firm, Bain & Company where he advised clients on technology strategy, digital transformation and enterprise information technology. Prior to his role at Bain, Mark was CIO with Premium Credit and Chief Digital & Information Officer with HMRC.  He has also held CIO positions in Vodafone UK and Cable & Wireless. He has considerable experience in cyber-security, customer-facing digital solutions as well as delivering complex technology change across international operations.

Phil Jenkins
Phil Jenkins

Chief M&A Officer

Phil Jenkins joined Inchcape in May 2019 and was promoted to the Group Executive Team in October 2023.

Phil has over twenty-five years’ business development and finance experience in global organisations across both the FMCG and automotive sectors. Phil joined Inchcape initially as Chief Financial Officer for our Americas & Africa region and has led our global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team since 2021. Under his leadership, the M&A team has helped secure multiple deals, including the acquisition of Derco, Inchcape’s biggest M&A transaction in more than 50 years.

Prior to joining Inchcape, Phil held senior leadership positions at Diageo plc and Scottish & Newcastle plc.

George was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Inchcape Asia in October 2016. George joined the Group in March 2006 as Director of Implementation, Inchcape Advantage. In this role George led the implementation of a Group wide strategic programme putting the customer at the heart of the Group’s service initiatives. In October 2006, George was appointed Managing Director, European Retail where he led the implementation of world class retail operation programmes across the European retail network. He was also responsible for the integration of businesses acquired in the Baltics and the construction and opening of four greenfield operations in eastern Europe.

George was Chief Executive Officer, Toyota Belgium from July 2009 to December 2011, and CEO of Australasia from January 2012 to October 2016. George joined the Group from Yum Restaurants International (previously Pepsi Restaurants International), where he spent 10 years holding several senior management positions.

Ruslan Kinebas
Ruslan Kinebas

CEO, APAC

Ruslan Kinebas is the CEO for Inchcape Asia-Pacific, which includes Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Guam, Indonesia, Macau, New Zealand, Saipan, Singapore and Thailand. Ruslan joined Inchcape as CEO Emerging Markets in 2015. Following a series of acquisitions and contract wins across Emerging Markets, and the Group’s reorganization of operating regions, he became the CEO of Americas and Africa in 2019 with a core focus on inorganic expansion through M&A, before moving to Singapore in 2021 to lead Asia-Pacific, a region with a strong growth potential.

Prior to Inchcape, Ruslan worked for Cadbury, Kraft Foods and Mondelez International, the world’s largest snacks company, where his last position was Area VP for North and West Africa and Turkey. He is a British national and has extensive international management experience, having worked across Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America.

Romeo Lacerda

CEO Americas

Romeo joined Inchcape on 1 September 2021, from Mondelēz International Inc, where he was most recently President, Western Europe. In this role, Romeo and was responsible for seven countries (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece) and for iconic brands like LU, Cote D´Or, Milka and Suchard.

Romeo has a wealth of international experience having held senior positions both in his home country of Brazil and more broadly across Latin America, EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Europe.

Glafkos Persianis
Glafkos Persianis

CEO Europe & Africa

Glafkos joined Inchcape on 1 April 2020 from Vodafone Group plc where he most recently held the role of Commercial Director, UK since 2016. In this role, Glafkos was responsible for 9,000 employees and a turnover of €3.3bn and his remit spanned consumer business strategy, on and offline sales channels, customer operations as well as brand and digital marketing. Glafkos has significant change management and transformation experience which he developed both in this and his prior role with Vodafone as CEO, Greece.

Before Vodafone, Glafkos had a long and successful career in a range of senior management roles with PepsiCo Inc, latterly as GM Food & Beverage, Central Europe. Glafkos’ experience in managing across multiple European territories stems from this time, experience that clearly has significant relevance as he joins Inchcape to lead the newly formed Europe region.
