Enabling new technologies for the future of mobility

At Inchcape, we use our deep local knowledge and strong collaboration with OEM partners to roll out new technologies in markets where we see a demand for new energy vehicles (NEV) – from hybrid to plug-in hybrid and full battery electric vehicles (BEVs). In 2024, we achieved an important milestone with NEVs sold in over 70% of our markets worldwide.

The Americas
Within our Americas region, we signed 14 new Distribution agreements in 2024, expanding and diversifying our portfolio, including introducing 25 NEV and 30 BEV models to meet diverse customer needs. In Chile, we achieved a 43.7% share of the NEV segment and 17.3% in Peru, highlighting growing momentum for sustainable mobility in the region. To support this transition, the regional team at Inchcape focused on market readiness, training and strategy, introducing a market readiness matrix and launching an internal ‘NEV Community’ – driving collaboration and a unified approach to accelerating NEV adoption across the region.

Asia-Pacific
In our Asia Pacific region, Inchcape outperformed Australia’s 40% NEV market growth with a 57.3% increase, driven by increasing BEV and hybrid sales. Across the region, Inchcape expanded its NEV footprint through a new Distribution contract win with DEEPAL, a Chinese all-electric brand, in Australia and further new model launches in Hong Kong and Guam and Saipan. To help accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption, Inchcape established a charging infrastructure partnership in Guam and Saipan and ensured we’re ready to support customers across the region with a growing servicing network of over 700 NEV-ready workshops.

Europe & Africa
In our Europe and Africa region, Inchcape further expanded its NEV portfolio, strengthening our presence in the rapidly growing segment. In 2024, we introduced BEV brand XPENG to Finland and Poland, and expanded our existing partnership with BYD in Belgium and Luxembourg to both Estonia and Ethiopia, where supportive policies are accelerating BEV adoption. In 2025, our partnership with BYD expanded into Lithuania and Latvia.
Whether it’s growing the presence of new energy vehicles, expanding partnerships, investing in infrastructure, or enhancing service capabilities, Inchcape continues to enable new technologies to meet the evolving demands of today’s customers and shape the future of mobility.
