AUSTRALIA: Subaru breaks record with more than 10,000 Outbacks sold this year

December 2015: Inchcape’s Subaru business in Australia has sold more than 10,000 new generation All-Wheel Drive Outback’s for the first time in its history over the course of 2015, with a month of sales still to go. So far this year, Subaru has sold 10,146 of the popular models.

Outback sales of 962 in November were up 634.4 per cent for the month and 351.5 per cent year to date, according to official VFACTS results. Overall Subaru sales of 3884 vehicles mean sales are up 7.9 per cent for the year. Also performing strongly was the Liberty model, with 314 sales, up 368.7 per cent for the month and 309.2 per cent year to date. In addition, 1137 Forester models and 572 XV’s have been sold in November, further underlining Subaru’s SUV success story.
