SINGAPORE: Borneo Motors celebrated for innovative Toyota campaign at Marketing Excellence Awards
November 2014: Borneo Motors, Inchcape's business in Singapore, has won three awards for its innovative Toyota campaign at Marketing Magazine’s prestigious annual Marketing Excellence Awards.
It beat over 120 organisations to take home a Silver Award for Excellence in Advertising; a Bronze Award Excellence in Marketing Communications and a Bronze Award Excellence in Integrated Marketing (Consumer) Awards. The team was awarded for its highly successful Toyota Corolla Altis marketing campaign, “A Toyota Like You Have Never Seen. The Corolla Altis. The Legend Redefined.” The multi-channel campaign focused on elevating the premium perception of Corolla and Toyota and engaged potential customers through social media platforms in addition to print, radio and digital media.
The annual Marketing Excellence Awards event recognises excellence across the marketing communications services industry and seeks to celebrate companies that have pushed the boundaries of marketing through innovation and creative thinking. Earlier this year, Borneo Motors’ Marketing Director Klaus Redomske also won the Marketer of the Year award at the Singapore Media Awards 2014.
In Singapore, Inchcape is the exclusive distributor for Toyota, Lexus, Hino Trucks and Suzuki. The Company has represented Toyota in Singapore since 1967 and has held the Suzuki distribution franchise since 1977.
