Subaru Australia/New Zealand:

Inchcape is the exclusive importer and distributor of the Subaru brand in Australia (and New Zealand). The current market share of 3.9% in Australia is the largest market share for a major Subaru market outside Japan. Utilising vertical integration, Subaru Australia works closely with Inchcape Automotive Retail in 11 retail centres along the eastern seaboard of Australia.

This relationship also includes the retail centres for Subaru in Melbourne, a territory that represents some 13% of the Australian Subaru market. These Retail facilities include the flagship site Subaru Interactive @ Docklands, where the brand can be fully experienced through a variety of interactive driving and customer centric activities. This is the world’s largest Subaru retail centre, retailing approximately 2,500 new and used vehicles per annum.

Inchcape Automotive Retail:

As one of the top 10 automotive retailers in Australia, Inchcape Automotive Retail’s presence in the Australian automotive market includes 14 retail centres for our franchised retail centres in Melbourne, the greater Sydney area and in the northern Brisbane district of Queensland. In total these businesses retail over 1 6 ,000 new and used vehicles per annum. Inchcape Automotive Retail represents f our of the top 10 automotive brands in Australia with Subaru, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Mitsubishi and also represents Kia.

AutoNexus:

AutoNexus, our parts and vehicle logistics operation in Australia, is a premium logistics specialist providing advanced services to the automotive industry. AutoNexus provides a range of supply chain management solutions for both vehicles and parts encompassing physical vehicle storage and processing, fitment and conversion, pre-delivery inspection services, parts warehousing and distribution, inventory management and supply chain strategic planning. In 2009 AutoNexus were responsible for the logistic management of over 60,000 vehicles processing and 1,000,000 parts lines distribution.

In Belgium, we are the distributor for Toyota and Lexus.We own and operate eight Toyota and Lexus retail centres, with the remaining network of 85 retail centres operated by independent third party retailers.

Inchcape plc acquired NBT, one of the biggest and oldest car distributors in Brunei, in 1967. NBT has been the sole agent for Toyota vehicles in Brunei since 1967 and for Lexus since 1993.

NBT has been the biggest importer and retailer of motor vehicles in the country since 1983 and operates three Toyota showrooms located in Gadong, Jalan Tutong and Kuala Belait, and a Lexus showroom in Gadong, together with two workshops and a PDI centre.

We are the distributor for Toyota and Lexus in Bulgaria and Romania. In Bulgaria we have increased our presence in Sofia with the opening of a new retail centre for Toyota in 2009.

In Chile we operate VIR for BMW and retail for Honda.

In 1994 Chilean car retailer Williamson Balfour S.A. was incorporated into the Inchcape Group as exclusive importer of BMW in the region. By 2003 Williamson Balfour was focused exclusively on retailing BMW, adding Honda to its brand portfolio in 2007.

In China, we retail Toyota and Lexus.

In December 2006 we completed construction, after less than 100 days, of our first Toyota greenfield site in Shaoxing. In January 2008, we opened a Lexus retail centre in Shaoxing and a third centre, Shanghai Lexus, opened on 8 June 2009.

In the Baltics - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia - we operate VIR for Mazda, Jaguar and Land Rover.

In Ethiopia we operate VIR for Toyota through four sites.

Our business Moenco, is the distributor and retailer for Toyota. In 2009, Moenco celebrated its 50th anniversary in the region.

MOENCO has four operational sites: two in Addis Ababa; one in Awassa, which opened in 1998; and one in Bahir Dar that opened in 2004. Our network includes 13 dealers across the country and we employ more than 580 employees.
